It's very good! I have to increase FFB multiplier in-game to 1.4 otherwise it feels too loose.

Spent some time with RF2 this evening, first for a while. Its come a long way from the initial demo and the BTCC Honda is just superb. Ran some wet weather races too and this sim/mod has great potential for our future needs.

Mike, can we run a RF2 sever on the WSVR server?

Not sure. I havnt bought rf2 but will do the next weeks. Will have a look how dedi servers work. If they work like rf or race/gtr2 no problem.

I've used the dedi server once from my own rF install last year. At that point it was almost exactly the same as the rF1 server.

Matt - Might be worth speaking to ISI see if we can get an rF2 license from them for the server.

Did you try the car around Croft?

Nope, just tried silverstone and that little italian track.. Mores or something like that

If there's a few of us (between 3-10) I'll host a server from my PC running the Civic around Croft.

I haven't got one yet - will probably be something along the lines of WSVR Civic Test.

just ran a benchmark test with AI cars on rF2. 20 cars all visual settings set to low or off, 50Hz refresh rate and no shaders.

Wasn't good, poor FPS and regular freezes, particularly at the start.

Either there is something wrong with my install or I need a new PC.

What's your PC spec Max?

Also remember running AI is a lot more intensive than playing online (your PC doesn't have to calculate what people do online - AI need more resources for this reason). I've also seen AI with the Civic has a large hit on performance.

Might still be worth trying without any AI see what difference it makes.

I dont have rf2 Max, but usually if I drive SP on my rig with rf1 I cant use many AIs, if I go on the server I can use 32 AIs (maximum) without any problem.

yes a laptop, tried without AI on my own, still a bit jerky about 25 FPS or so

Hoping to be on the rf2 server later, just gotta do a couple of things first that take band width so no point untill done.

Which track are you trying?

I know for example Silverstone isn't well optimised and eats FPS, whereas Mills is a lot lighter on the system. Croft is pretty good too.

has anyone been able to find and isolate the .HDV files in RF2 at all? Would love to see what settings they have for the Honda

The .mas file which contains the physics is locked unfortunately.
