Just to confirm, with the server not recording laps on LiveRacers, I will (again) be unable to show the 20 laps
I hope my showing from Brands and initial pace at Oulton is okay to go me for this event? As with last round I will be practicing offline at Uni also

No problem for me with that! You raced well at Brands.

Thank you! Always looking to improve though and Oulton is certainly a fairer mistress to me than Brands

There's a rule in your rulebook which says that C-Class drivers must complete at least 20 laps on the server and show good consistency/adequate pace in order to take part in BTCC events

Re: RF1 BTCC 2015 - Round 2 Oulton Park
Only managed to do race 1, but was still fun.
Quali was as to be expected really. Race, well I had a bit of a scare at the start when everyone disappeared coming into T2 Luckily nothing happened I think. Had a nice battle with Andy though, was fun, sorry abut the punt
Hopefully I can do R2 next round too.

Re: RF1 BTCC 2015 - Round 2 Oulton Park
Excellent race tonight. Congratulations to all. My first racing weekend in WSVR I made a good setup for this track and the qualifications I drove PB 01: 24.5xx and I was 4th. Start first race, the first bends one driver hitting me and I lose one position. later I pass Allington and finishing the race as 4th. good battle with Huhn. The second race an additional 20 kg excellent start, I came to your 3rd place after overtaking a Hunh. Finishing at the PODIUM ( 3rd place ) . Start of the third race with a 6-position and an additional 30 kg. good battle with Manasiev and Kirk. End 5th , great weekend for me, I'll see you at the rallycross
Re: RF1 BTCC 2015 - Round 2 Oulton Park
I really enjoyed tonights racing. Car felt good after some tinkering with my setup.
Qualified 5th, which was better than i thought i`d do.
Race 1 - Derp moment warming the tyres on the grid, after nearly spinning completely, I hit the wall. Only slight damage to right side though, so not too bad.
Apologies to Vukasovic into T1, I gave a slight nudge and knocked him sideways, but I eased off to keep him in front of me and this let Hahn through.
Braking into cascades and Tony was sudenly in my car, rFactor then realised that isn`t possible and spat me into the air. Was 19th after that, but surprisingly, no damage suffered, woohoo!
Was 14th by end about lap 4 and there I stayed, trying to catch Crain. Managed to catch up on lap 8 and here started 3 laps of side by side action. Was great racing with Crain, nice and clean.
Managed to finally get a pass at Lodge after he ran slightly wide and I got the run up the hill, across the line and into T1. Caught up to Hinns but not close enough to pass. Finished 13th.
Race 2 - Cant check the reply as i dont seem to have one for race 2??? very strange.
Started way back, due to crappy race 1. I can't even remember where i finished, but i think it was 4th? I do remember chasing someone and having a moment, which allowed a big group to catch me, but luckily i manage to fight them off and got a gap back to them.
Race 3 - Started 5th again and managed not to derp this time. Got a great start into T1 on the inside of Wustner, there was contact but neither of us suffered. Wustner went wide (probably due to contact?) and i got the run into cascades. This time, no slingshot into the air from Tony
Pitschmann, Horton and me were battling for 2nd. Car felt awesome braking into Lodge and the Hairpin.
That said I was losing Horton and Kirk was attacking me by lap 4.
By lap 6, Horton myself and Kirk were bunched and fighting.
I lost out on lap 7 after going wide in T1, so back down to P5. at this point Vukasovic was right behind me.
Lap 8 into Hislops and Horton loses the back end, gifting me 4th, but Vukasovic still close behind.
From then until the end, Vukasovic slightly dropped off, allowing me to concentrate on attacking Kirk, but I couldn`t even get
beside him, let alone pass, so 4th i finished.
Qualified 5th, which was better than i thought i`d do.

That was a very fun return to WSVR in race 3
Had some nice battles along the way and I think I found my feet on the mod about halfway through the race
Really looking foreward to next time.

Re: RF1 BTCC 2015 - Round 2 Oulton Park
Great bit of fun on my end!
Q - P3 - After that 100M board for Druids Corner was taken out, my chances of improving for S3 went down the toilet. Still, was happy with P3; a great starting place.
R1 - 2nd - Little scrapes into Old Hall on Lap 1 and avoided the carnage behind me at the hairpin. A simple race afterwards avoiding the Allington-M. Russell tangle and just trying to put pressure on Chris until the end.
R2 - 2nd - Again little scrapes into Old Hall but a less eventful race this time around until near the end when Chris' tyres went. Had the full race to focus my attack on him but in the end was happy to take a consecutive 2nd.
R3 - 3rd - Capping off my evening was one of my best performances in simracing. Was able to slice through the field and avoid spinners so I was up to 5th behind Kris and Andy. Kris put up a great fight with us two switching positions a couple of times, once I was securely past him however it was a simple mistake from Andy who let me into 3rd. No chance on catching either Mike or Matt with the 40kg at that stage, especially with Kris still attacking from behind.
Very happy man, just hope Croft treats me well!
