POSY not downloading in full

Hi guys my posy doesn't seem to working right.

I seem to only be able to download half the mod. I know this because some of the liveries aren't in game and I can't join the track on server because I get rfm and hdv file errors.

I had similar ages ago. Found it was due to folders been read only, check the log & then check the folders. Had to manually change mine then run posy, also had to do it a few times then once all installed been fine since???!!!???

I've unchecked read only on the folder and re run posy several times and I'm still stuck at 652mb

I get problems with posy every now and then. I use Filezilla to download it as I find its far more reliable. Its pretty easy to do but if your struggling I can write up a guide.

Folders & any sub folders, as say i had to run it a few times as it kept putting the read only back.

Aha, I get that all the time. Thumbs.db I assume won't sync? I think it's because your rFactor's in Program Files and Windows' UAC loves to kindly say OH HELL NO to any important file (such as a .dll or a .db) being synced over, or replaced in Program Files.

Just sync the whole WEC mod to a folder on your desktop, then move it over to your rFactor install. Should work a charm.

All I can suggest is make sure yo're running PoSy in admin mode. Also, Win7 compatibility may help. (Even if you're on Win7)

Grab filezilla from...

Once downloaded and installed, right click, select proprieties go to compatibility and allow it to run as administrator.

Run filezilla, once loaded select site manager and use the following credentials...

[FTP]
HOST=81.169.254.41
PORT=21
USER=WSVRUser
PASS=p1gaming

...using FTP protocol and plain encryption.

Once logged in, find the mod you wish to download e.g. /P1-Gaming Posy Sync/WSVR/YOUR MOD and copy all the containing files e.g. gamedata to your rfactor install and overwrite the folders.
