New BTCC install
As suggested I created a new rFactor install (have tried 2 new installs) for the new version if BTCC, however I cant get it to load up, rFactor starts, yellow cube, start of music & the video starts then when clicked to continue it just stops with a black screen.
Any ideas?

I think there's an issue with the movies folder, copy it over from your existing rF install into your new one and it should work.Andy Horton wrote:As suggested I created a new rFactor install (have tried 2 new installs) for the new version if BTCC, however I cant get it to load up, rFactor starts, yellow cube, start of music & the video starts then when clicked to continue it just stops with a black screen.

Re: New BTCC install
If its the same as I had before then I changed the DirectX settings in rfactor config, sorted it for me & hopefully that's it
Re: New BTCC install
Did a little vid to try and show what's happening, after the main vid the screen goes black but the background music starts and thats it.......
Have tried all the DX levels as suggested by tony, also copied movie files as suggested by Chris.

Re: New BTCC install
You might be able to find something if you put rFactor into trace mode:
Create a desktop shortcut for rFactor, right click, go to properties on the new shortcut and add trace=4 to the end of your Target line (mine reads C:\rFactor\rFactor.exe trace=4) If there's a space in your path you'll need quotes around it with trace=4 on the outside of the quotes (eg. "C:\Program Files\rFactor\rFactor.exe" trace=4)
The logs appear in C:\rFactor\UserData\LOG\trace.txt

Re: New BTCC install
In your Movefiles folder try and copy ISILogo.bik, paste it and rename it to WSVRBTCC.bik
It looks like it might be getting stuck on that.

Re: New BTCC install
Have just run Posy update on the old install of btcc & it loads up fine.
tried the server and got no mismatch, so is it safe to use that or does it have to be a new install?

Yep should be fine using that. I'm downloading the mod now so will see if I can find the issue.

Re: New BTCC install
I've found the issue. Matt has forgotten to add the UIData to Posy.
If you need it download from here: https://www.mediafire.com/?cfzcj3zutjnfeg0
Extract into: rFactor\UIData
