WSVR 2014 Endurance test sesion and fun races

Open event for 2014 Endurance mod. Opportunity for all members to try out the cars, test for issues and give feedback prior to the 2014 season.

This will be an open test session but will have a couple of races thrown in for fun

It appears we have some show stopping issues with the mod at present so as a result this test will be postponed until further notice.

If fixed in time then I'll let you know but currently unlikely with other commitments this week.

Was thinking the same..  V8 season starts before Endurance after all

Typical now i've rearanged my fridays thinking that the endurance mod was broke so planed to go out instead

Endurance may be fixed! Will be a new download though so watch this space. Lots more cars potentially though too

Some mod feedback from last night:

LMP1 cars are great - don't need any tweaks to the physics. Some visual glitches - a ghost rear wing appearing on the Aston LMP.

GT cars have far too much understeer under power and around fast corners, it grips a lot at the front under braking though. Feels un natural and a bit odd. May need to tweak aero balance on them.
GT Aston looks pap - might be worth using Enduracers version of the DB9, far more accurate model.
Maybe add Corvette from Enduracers too.
Rear lights (brake and tail lights) on Z4 GT look a bit weird.

A lot of camera changes are needed - I'll get to work on those though.

Yeah agreed, LMP's are spot on
