Re: BTCC 2013B Round Seven, Knockhill
POSY updater and server now ready with latest track version and BTCC mod update.
Mod updates as follows
- Slight increase in vehicle base weight to reduce roll over potential and two wheeled antics
- Slight reduction in drag to counter speed reduction due to extra weight.
- Tyre heating/wear characteristics updated. Minor reduction in wear rate to counter extra base weight. Also heating changed to reflect real world characteristics. RWD cars will take longer to warm front tyre's compared to FWD. FWD cars need to manage tyres towards end of race. More even spread of tyre performance.
- Minor graphics updates for teams/drivers

Re: BTCC 2013B Round Seven, Knockhill
You might have issues if you alt-tab while in rFactor.
My game only restores rFactor to a tiny little box after alt-tab. I think this is caused by the BTC Cup mod (but haven't had the chance to confirm it).
2 options:
1 - Run rfactor in a window at your monitor's native resolution - you'll have to put up with a tiny bit of your window missing at the bottom due to the title bar at the top
2 - Remove BTC Cup mod from your rFactor folder (again, I can't confirm it's that, but it's since the BTC Cup mod went in I've had this issue - a few others had it last Sunday too).

Re: BTCC 2013B Round Seven, Knockhill
Well I have to say that was a fun event. Very pleased to have got the first win in BTCC since the league stared out the way now, just frustrated that its was under circumstances where there was complaint over other members conduct so perhaps didn't enjoy it as much as I should have.
Felt confident in the car and have been on the pace at knockhill before so was hoping for good result. Was dissapointed with qual pace but happy to make up to second. Weight was hard in race 2, stared out ok taking lead with good start but had slide on chicane exit and think I burnt off a lot of grip, dropped back after that.
Race 3 was good start and then clean run after that. Again just a shame the whole race was a touch clouded.
Possible could have been better with decent grid spot and without slide in race two but I'll settle for solid result and R3 win
