Problem with HUD Plugin and BTCC

Situation: started today my rfactor, load track, as soon as on track game hangs up. Made a clear new install, runs fine. Installed 2 differnt HUDs, all fine. Installed BTCC, game hangs on as soon as I can see the track. removed hud, BTCC works fine.

What I have tried:

- several new installations of rfactor
- with and without 4 GB patch
- with and without nocd exe
- loaded severall tracks, original and custom
- created new profile
- updated DX
- updated Java (most plugins need that)
- uninstalled Java
- rFconfig.exe
- disabled realtime antivir for rFactor

What I havnt tried:

- WST mod
- BTC Cup mod



Anyone an idea what that could be?

sounds like u may have a plugin conflict. what i do in that case is copy and paste the plugins folder to desktop, then delete the contents in the pluging folder in rfactor and install you hud plugins.
I had to do this after the same situation as yourself. Then if all ok start adding the deleted pluging from the folder on your desktop untill it hangs again so you will know which one it is.

I use rfDynHUD, and found out after a lots of messing around that it does not work with Java7, I had to uninstall 7 and re-install 6 which is still available on their website. Maybe this will help

i wouldnt use rfdyn hud, it slows ur pc down a lot, I'd use GID plugin

Uninstalled Java, installed Java 6. removed all huds, installed only GID (which I used before): same result. Track loads, as soon as I can see the pit game is frozen, only the GID logo in the middle of the screen. Java is such a crap.

Edit: have tried the 2 latest Java 6 versions and the 2 latest jave 7 versions. Tested GID 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.4, rFDyn Hud. No mods installed, a clean fresh installtion. Same result -> game freezes.

Getting the same thing mike with GID. removed croft and game drivable again. will disable pluggin till something sorted. but do like this version off croft. simular to rf2.
