Hud plugin: Global Info Display

You guys use a HUD plugin? Christian and me use the GID, the Global Info Display. You can modify it ingame, choose which thing you will have and choose the position on the screen.

1: Starting lights. They are yellow if you have a yellow flag out, or red at start/starting season in the box.
2. Blue: Realtime on your System. Green: Time/Laps to go.
3. Ranking. You can see the Laptimes in Qualiy and the Topspeed (Current 207). In Race you see the distance between each driver and the Topspeed.
4. Trackoverlay. You can chosse between clear background or black background. I prefer clear. And you see each car with number and the position on the track. Each sector is colored, also the pitlane.
5. Hudsystem with all Info you need to race in. Speed, shifting lights (only one green on this screen), fuel, oil and water temperature, real time, laps/time to go, and braking throttle (clear on this, havnt used it for the screen).
6. Shows with a green up or a red down arrow if youre faster on your current lap as your fastest. I think you dont need it but it looks cool
7. Thats the heart of the Display to the Hud. You can see your Tire temperature for each one in color (at this screen blue=cold, goes up to pink=perfect, red is overheated) and degrees, status in % and colored bar next to each tire (at this screen green), water and oil temperature, engine status.
8. / 9. : Gap and personal Laptimes. You can see after sector 1/2 the difference to your fastest lap.

Theyre a few other things, but i disabled it manually which is very easy if you know how to do

Only extract to your rfactor folder and it will bestarted if you next time start your game.

With the keys Alt+Space you can ingame open up the Hud main menu to edit the hud. Choose the first point (someting with select), choose a display and with Return or Enter (dont remember atm) you can toggle the selected display on/off. With the cursor keys left and right you can switch between each display, and with the mouse you can move it to any place on the screen. If youre ready go back in the hud main menu and save it for all sessions. Done and ready!

I use an android app called DashMeterHD for most of that information - some things aren't there like start lights, flags and trackmap. But it does the job for me as I don't like screen clutter.

Maybe give it a try Chris, you can choose by yourself which of these things you will have on your screen. If want to uninstall it, only delete the GID folder in your rFactor/Plugin folder.

Only displays what really needed are 1, 5 and 7. Not to much on the screen, but most information you can get about your car/race/track
