BTCC 2014 B Round 3

Event will be run to standard BTCC format and league rules.

Event is open to A and B license grades. C license grade drivers are welcome to take part in practice but not permitted to compete in the race or qualifying sessions.

Hope to be at this one, got my TX back and i'm not going abroad the day after

Working late friday, might make race 2 or 3 but deffo miss race 1.

Should make this after my catastrophic London round. I'll be updating my car's skin too... watch out for that

I'm back off the pace so hoping for a top 10 finish

So yeaaaah... woke up this morning and was totally shattered from waking up early. Lasted until 11-ish, and then I got better. Now, late night has come and I'm starting to feel drowsy again I really don't want to risk being a hazard on track so I think I'll be giving this one a miss. Good luck and have fun chaps, hope you understand why I won't be there.

feels like driving against a bunch of RA drivers again no one respects the line of the other on just pushing cars of all the time
specially if you side by side at the exit

and thats not how i race normally so before getting stuck in this driving style i quit

Sorry to hear you feel that way Dan. As normal the stewards panel will review the races and act accordingly. There was some very hard and close racing going on but I didn't note anything serious from my perspective, that's only one view though which is why we have a big steward panel.

We have moved on from prior seasons issues but allow time for us to review and respond

I have watched both replays from your perspective Dan, race 1 you were only involved in close racing with me and from my perspective was very competitive and fair and I would also like to say very enjoyable too. Race 2 was different in that there were more cars racing closer together, the racing I thought was hard with a lot of 'fair contact', but nothing more than would happen in the real Touring Cars.

I would really appreciate you letting us know what, when & who (including me) caused you problems so we can all understand your views

I hope you decide not to quit and race with us again, I have enjoyed some good racing with you before.
