Hi All, newbie to WSVR
Hello All,
Names Ollie Hood, i'm 22 years old, from Southampton UK, i'm currently racing in real life in the Drayton Manor MG Metro Cup, and I use rFactor aswell. I have a logitech G27 gameracer sim which i'm looking forward to using on the WSVR!
I love close racing, i'm very fair and clean and I can't wait to get involved.
Regards,
Ollie Hood.

Hello Olli and Welcome,
youre right in time, our actual BTCC season is over (final was ffiday at Brands) and the next season starts on 5th September. In the meantime in the summerbreak we have some funevents and still the final round with our Super Tourings (STC) at the Avus. So enough time to get our B License and join our BTCC
If you've not found everything you need yet, these links should help. You will find commonly asked questions and information to help get you set up with running in our league here in the forum, please familiarize yourself with league rules and guidelines as follows:

Teamspeak - https://wsvr.forumotion.co.uk/t318-teamspeak-server . please note teamspeak 3 is a must have for us, even if you only wanna listen whats going on.
Once set up you can then visit our various race series sections to find out about entering the competitions, as said STC is next friday.
cheers

Welcome Ollie. We have a few real racers here, didn't know there was MG metro racing in existence though.. not the car that springs to mind most when you think of racing

Just seen this Ollie.. looks like a lot of fun! Your the yellow/purple car?
They look like they drive much like our cup cars.. how much does a season in the metro's put you back?

Hi Matt,
Yes I am The championship is fantastic, very close and good racing! It's £1,700 for entry fee's, thats per year, then you have the cost of the car, tyres (£80.00 a corner) cut slick, etc.
Bit of a disaster weekend for me as it was the first time of driving the car since quite a few suspension and power changes, qualifying I had clutch slip, overheating, and a stupid amount of understeer. Then in the race I had same again but got worse and worse with eventually the engine going on me (not sure what damage is yet) so I rolled over the finish line with no engine, haha.
Heres the 3rd racers view on that battle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vckVp-WtqAc
Then mine (however the video contrast was not set correctly so not much to see): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOdTyaARBKw

Re: Hi All, newbie to WSVR
Should be able to race this friday, providing it's early? I will be off the game though around 10-10.30.
I'd love to get the metro cup cars on the game and the physics
