Excessive nappy changing is no doubt the cause Mike, tell the wife you need at least two days rest on the sofa! oh and make sure you can still hold a beer with the right handMichael Pitschmann wrote:Not sure if I can race on Friday, have a inflammation in my left wrist. Live stewarding for you then Mike?
I have to pick my other half up from work at 9pm again (she does choose her shifts well!) So can I ask for a 15 minute delay again please?
There's also some pretty beefy thunderstorms around here at the minute so if I'm not on the server at all, assume I have no power and carry on!

Re: BTCC 2013B Round Six, Snetterton
Sorry for saying this, but I am not interested in driving in this series anymore after what in my opinion was some very disrespectful and dangerous driving tonight. Yes, this is a game, but there is no point of playing a game if there is no fun involved. I was expecting some good & clean racing tonight, but the level of driving and aggression on the first lap in the first two races just make me disinterested in racing here. I will respect this league by racing the final race tonight, but I won't be racing in the BTCC anymore for this season.
Sorry..

Scott - everything is looked at by the stewards, as proven over the last few races appropriate penalties are always applied.
If there's certain moves you're not happy with let us know and we'll look into it. We're completely impartial with no bias at all. If another race steward is involved they are not part of the decision to penalise or not.
We can't sit and watch every driver over 3 races to look for incidents and if they're reported they get much higher priority than any unreported incidents we find when generally viewing the replays.

Re: BTCC 2013B Round Six, Snetterton
From where I was sitting, I had some really good races even though I thought it was going to be a total washout for me. I lost my HUD for all 3 races and hit a few wrong gears along the way(didn't realize how much I needed it), that with a bit of lag (New PC needed) meant I was going backwards most of the time, but had some good battles with some quality, fair racers.

Scott, really sorry to hear you had problems during the races with us tonight, but rest assured we do not tolerate disrespectful and dangerous driving here, we are trying hard to keep this league friendly, fair and enjoyable and will ban members who are disrespectful and drive without consideration towards other racers. I personally have had some cracking races here. Please let me know the incidents you are referring to, and I will take a look and have the other stewards look too, we need all members to report incidents to the stewards who are always happy to take a look and penalties will always be applied for poor driving.Scott Søvik wrote:Sorry for saying this, but I am not interested in driving in this series anymore after what in my opinion was some very disrespectful and dangerous driving tonight. Scott, sorry to hear you choosing to leave when you have good chance of the S2000 cup win.
Whilst i like any other member respect a decision not to continue, I'm a little confused at the driving standards you suggest you suffered. I've watched the race repay from your car view from all three events and other than contact ahead of you in the hairpin which blocked your path (which will be penalized), I fail to see the poor standard and aggressive driving you point to, if you could be more specific I'd appreciate it.
You seemed to struggle this evening compared to your normal performance but I hope that alone does not have bearing on your choice. Most of your car damage seemed self inflicted.
I feel we set high standards, more so than previous but this remains a fun league based on touring car racing which by nature features some rubbing. We still wont tolerate aggressive driving and that has been clamped down on already, just don't see you victim of much of that tonight. If our balance is not for you then so be it and we wish you luck in other leagues, if you wish to stay your most welcome but please report incidents your not happy with.
