I've been following this since the first YouTube video appeared about a year ago:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KppTmsNFneg

Now it's finally been released as an alpha for the bargain price of £10 which includes any future updates through to full release! Very Happy

For those who haven't watched the linked YouTube video, it's basically soft-body physics which means you get very realistic flex-bodies, crashing and deformation of the car. I've had a bash on it (not a long one!) and the physics are promising, the crashing is utterly brilliant! The physics aren't quite right due to the way this is done, it's a completely different way of doing car physics which allows the soft-body/flex-body to act realistically, but this will no doubt improve over time.

For those who are intreagued you can try the tech demo at www.beamng.com, I think it's well worth a tenner though!

Very impressive, so i take it u can apply these physics to rfactor or as i see on youtube, GTA. or am i barking up the wrong tree. Think it would be good tho, slow a lot of people down if they know a collision with a wall or competitor would put them out the race.
